NEW IN: HAPPY HOLI – HIPPIE BAGS

Winter winds are finally giving way to pleasent spring breezes and just in time I brought you new bohemian super multicoloured statement hippie bags to put your own spin on the latest spring and summer look!

These Holi – inspired hippie bags are part of the Manisha Reloaded collection, that will be also online soon.

All bags are made of antique, traditional wall hangings from Rajasthan and Gujarat, later being known for its “kutchi” work, which stands for one of the most ancient works of craftmanship in India. Centuries ago the finest embroideries were carried out for the royal and wealthy families while women in rural areas prepared them for their dowries. Unfortunately many of these fine skills have been lost, however some were being originated by handicraft initiatives.
Every bag is unique due to the patchworked pieces and detailed with bohemian tassels and´multi-coloured embroidery.  The models have a zip fastening at top to close and an internal zip fastening pocket. Cotton lining.

These statement bags are an easy piece for sun-soaked balmy days and will stamp every look with ethno glamour – on the beach, in the city, simply everywhere.

From tomorrow, Tuesday April 12th online on www.silviagattin.com!
